I was reading Wallpaper magazine recently – it’s a great way to get my fix of cool, hip “stuff” that I’d never buy since I have no room nor need for any more “stuff”. There was a page highlighting neat things for a hallway and embedded in one of the sections was a quote by William Morris. Not the talent agency but the 19th century British writer. This quote really struck home with me:
“have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful”“
