Before and after says it all.  Sometimes the differences are subtle, sometimes quite dramatic but each step of the way is designed to showcase the home to the buyer.

Creating a good flow to the home, de-personalizing and de-cluttering the home, and strategic furniture placement and organization make buyers visualize themselves in the space.  You want to hear the magic words “I could see myself living in this house” and “We can put the sofa here.”

March 1, 2007… I would like to express my sincerest thanks for the thoughts and prayers from my friends, family, clients and business acquaintances during my recent, and successful, battle with thyroid cancer. Many have asked how I knew I had it. Well, I didn’t, but I knew something wasn’t quite right when I kept feeling an odd pressure in my throat. So, I offer my greatest gratitude to Dory Turney at Dr. Frank Caprio’s office with Heritage Medical Associates for hounding me to get in for an ultrasound, which resulted in finding nodules on my thyroid. Special thanks also to Dr. Rekha Pandula, my endocrinologist, and Dr. Kathleen Crews Williams, my surgeon. My recent scan, after my radiation therapy, showed that the cancer should be eradicated from any thyroid cells and lymph nodes. Now, it’s a matter of regaining my strength and stamina. The hardest part for me has been accepting the help and support of others, which is difficult for someone like me. I just want these people to know how much they are appreciated, and how much they helped me get through this. And for anyone who doesn’t feel quite right… please have it checked out, even if you are the one who is always taking care of everyone else—take care of yourself first!
