Personally I've used the guitar hanger for years, and love it. Not only does it keep my guitar up and out of the way, it is a cool way to display it. So not only is it storage, it is a form of art in our living room. We have got 4 kids & they all play on some kind of ball team. As a dad there were balls every where, now we have in bedrooms & most of them in garage. Well I bought 10 & they are so handy & durable .
