I use the same principles about clutter when I talk about time management: SORT the activities you want to continue doing from those you can delegate or stop altogether (PURGE), and CONTAINERIZE them into appropriate time slots on your schedule! I love going to conferences and reading new organizing books - they get me so inspired. Instead of me always being the one figuring everything out - I get to hear what others have done and adapt them to suit the challenges of my clients and my own life. It's the same sort of thing that gets me to clean out & organize my closet for example - just go buy a new sweater. I mean, the closet has to look pretty for the new addition - right? Tell me about it! I love going to conferences and reading new organizing books – they get me so inspired.
